Programme Office
Established in the year 2002, the Sindh Programme
Office endeavours to strengthen the existing activities being
undertaken by IUCN Pakistan in the province of Sindh and initiate
new ones. The activities of the Programme are in line with the
overall strategic framework of the Country Office, with which
it works in close collaboration along with the various thematic
programmes.

Goal
Good governance for the sustainable development
of Sindh
Objectives
- To ensure generation of, and access to knowledge
on a variety of sustainable development issues of interest to
the public, private sector and civil society stakeholders
- To undertake advocacy for environmental management
at the policy level
- To strengthen institutional and human resource
capacity of selected public, private and civil society organisations
for sustainable development
- To infuse gender as a crosscutting theme throughout
the Programme
